The Illawarra Dog Training Club is run by an amazing group of volunteers.
The Club prides itself in helping the community create a successful partnership between the handler and their dog.
The Illawarra Dog Training Club is affiliated with Dogs NSW.
We train every Saturday afternoon, rain, hail and shine, with the exception of Public Holiday weekends.
Where possible the average class size is 6-8 members. We hold 2 x 1/2 hour sessions with a 20 minute break between each session.
PLEASE NOTE: The IDTC Committee reserves the right to cancel training on any given Saturday due to severe weather conditions i.e Thunderstorms or extreme heat 38 degrees or greater, this is in line with the rules of DOGS NSW

Our Lifetime Member of our Club John Hallett and his beautiful Cavoodle Honey received a 10 year award for being a Pet Therapy Dog at Hammond Care Dementia Home at Horsley in December 2024 . What a wonderful achievement for John and his beautiful companion Honey! Congratulations to you both what an awesome achievement on behalf of IDTC.
