Illawarra Off Leash Areas
Here is a list of local off-leash areas, please consult Council for conditions and hours of use
- Figtree Park, alongside Westfield Figtree - access point outside fence from sight screen to near the mound (Byarong Creek side)
- Bellambi Point Beach, Bellambi - access point from the boat ramp to the 'pipe outlet' (from the bank to the high water mark)
- Coniston Beach, Coniston - access point from Bank St to the Breakwater
- MM Beach , Port Kembla - access point off of Gloucester Boulevarde
- Riley Park, Unanderra - access point off of Rose Pde to Central Rd
- Sharkeys Beach, Coledale - access point off of Lawrence Hargrave Drive
- Eleenbana Reserve, Koonawarra - access point off of Eleenbana Cresent
- Proud Park, Helensburgh - access point off of Nixon Place
- Little Austinmer Beach, Austinmer access point off of Lawrence Hargrave Drive walkway
- McCauley's Beach, Thirroul - access point, a distance of 300 metres South of Corbett Ave
- Perkins Beach, Winding - access point (extending from Shellharbour Rd/Wattle St. beach walkway North to Easterly extension of unnamed access road)
